Karen came to work for PersonnelPlus in 2008 after working for Athens County Children Services in various clerical capacities for 12 years. Karen now provides her administrative and clerical expertise to her team of 11. Karen also manages the office, directs the flow of communication, processes and forwards payment authorizations, and with her vast amount of experience essentially substitutes for any staff member during absences or shortages. Karen is a valuable part of the PersonnelPlus team.
Karen’s favorite thing about her job is watching clients’ growth from the beginning of services up through gaining permanent employment. Karen is very dedicated to her job and is a great advocate for the people we serve.
Karen and her husband Pat live in The Plains with their two sons, Justin and Noah. In her spare time, Karen supports her boys at their sporting events and is a big supporter of Athens High School Athletics. Karen is also huge dog lover and does dog grooming in the evenings and weekends. Karen is also active in her church and where she is Recorder and Elder.
Karen says PersonnelPlus is valuable agency to the community because it gives people with special abilities the opportunity to pursue and obtain the same goals of every person, no matter what their abilities are.
