If ACBDD announces a two-hour delay for the Beacon buses, Atco will remain open and on the regular schedule unless Athens County declares a Level 3 Emergency.

All Beacon buses will follow Beacon School Announcements regarding open/close and or delay status. If Beacon closes, no buses will run and Atco consumers may not arrive at Atco until 9:00am if individual transportation is provided, both ways. If a Level 3 does not exist, the shuttle will run on regular schedule if possible and provide the usual Community Employment transpor-tation for individuals who live within 5 miles of Athens. Remember when the roads are bad we may arrive a little late, please be patient with us.

If Beacon school is open, all classes will begin on schedule unless a delay is announced. All early dismissals will be announced by the Superintendent or the Transportation Director.
