New after hours contact number

To all Parents, Guardians, Providers, and Individuals Served:

The Service and Support Department of the Athens County Board of Developmental Disabilities is making a transition to assure the health and welfare of all individuals with developmental disabilities by switching from a pager to a cell-phone as the primary contact for after-hour emergency situations.

Effective Sept. 1, 2017 the pager will no longer be in service. The new phone number to reach the on-call Service and Support Specialist will be (740) 447-0710. Please make a note of the new number.

In the event of an emergency involving an individual with a developmental disability, or to report abuse, neglect, misappropriation or other unusual incidents, please use the new phone number. A service and support specialist is on call 24 hours/day, 7 days/week to respond to emergency calls. Please make a note of this new number.

During normal business hours, please continue to use the SSA business office number at (740) 592-6006 for assistance.
